Miserable at Best: A Jonas Brothers Love Story Chapter 64

MARATHON: 6 of 7 (A.N. this one is a whole bunch of little-ish POV's a week later)

Kevin's POV

"I'll be back in a while, alright Liz?" I said walking towards the door. "Sure!" she said she was obviously distracted by something. I walked out the door and down to my car, I didn't tell Liz where I was going because I knew she wouldn't be happy about it, I was going to lunch with Kaitlynne, she called me the other day saying she was back in town for a while and wanted to see me and I couldn't help but say yes.

Megan's POV

I was back in town for the Teen Choice Awards and I decided to stay for a while, since Taylor and I hadn't been doing so well. He was always flirting with other girls right in front of me it was horrible so, I'm taking a break from it. "Well, well, look who it is." I heard a familiar voice say behind me in line at the grocery store across the street from my hotel, I turned around. "Hello Joseph." I said with a smile. "You're the only one who ever calls me that." he said returning the smile. "Hey, why don't we get some lunch, I haven't seen you in months." he said. "You mean since I broke up with you?" I said with a questioning look. "The past is the past, come on, what do you say?" he said. "Fine, if you're gonna be this stubborn, we'll get lunch." I said with a smirk. "Fine." he said with the same, ever present, smirk.

Lizzy's POV

I know what Kevin is up to. He's going out with Kaitlynne behind my back, I can't believe he would do that! I miss Megs, I wish I could call her and tell her everything. She'd know what to do, she always has. And I can't call Breanna since she's with Jack tonight and her phone is off. I'd call Kaitlynne, but she's the one he's with! What am I going to do?

Breanna's POV

Jack and I ordered Chinese food and were sitting in his apartment. "So, I was thinking, maybe you could move into the house, since I'm all alone and all." I said as we were finishing. "Really?" he asked. "Yeah, I mean there's tons of room, it's a 5 bedroom house, and I need one, why not?" I said with a shrug. "Ok, it would be better than you moving in here." he said with a laugh as he looked around his tiny one bedroom apartment. "Ok, time for fortune cookies." he said getting up and heading into the kitchen to get them. "I'm good thanks." I said, I never really liked the taste of those things, and besides I was to full from dinner. "Oh, come on BB, these aren't just any fortune cookies, they're home made in the bakery downstairs, they aren't those gross ones you get from take out places." he said coming back with a bakers box. "Ok fine." I said with a smile. He opened the box and there were two oversized, chocolate and sprinkle dipped fortune cookies, he handed me one and smirked. "What?" I asked giving him a questioning look. "Nothing, just eat your cookie." he said jokingly. "Alright, do they have fortunes in them?" I asked and he laughed. "Of course they do! They're fortune cookies, BB." he said. "Well I don't know, they're home made, I've never had one like that before." I said sticking my tongue out at him as I broke mine open. Something crashed onto the plate below my hands and I looked down, my jaw dropped when I saw a diamond ring sitting on the plate. "What do you say BB, it's only the rest of your life?" he said with a smirk and I looked back up at him in shock.

Megan's POV

Ok, so maybe this isn't exactly how an afternoon of two friends catching up over lunch should end, but I was sort of liking being pressed up against the back wall of the restaurant making out with Joe. I pulled away and looked up at him, "What about Beth?" I asked. "This could be our little secret." he said leaning in and kissing me again. I was going to say something else, but I forgot what it was the second Joe kissed me again.

Breanna's POV

"YES!" I said with a nod hugging him. Oh my god, I can't believe he just proposed.
