Footage was taken from the recent attack on the people of "Occupy Oakland". The song I wrote about this sort of behavior by the government, employing us to fight against ourselves.

I know there may be many ridiculous comments which try to justify a complete attack on a large group of Americans.

Scott Olsen returned unscathed from two tours in Iraq only to be critically wounded during a violent confrontation between police and Occupy Oakland protestors Tuesday night.

16 Police Agencies used tear gas, concussion bombs, direct sound weapons, and rubber bullets to break up peaceful protestors who are participating in a classic "sit in" protest. - Last I heard at 3AM almost 24 hours after it began, protestors are again occupying the location. 2nd complete display of abuse of force in less than 24 hours.

We paid for the following agencies which attacked Occupy Oakland all of which claim to have a budget crisis: 1. Oakland PD, 2 Alameda Sheriff, 3. Berkeley PD 4. University of California PD 5. Hayward PD, 6. Fremont PD., 7. San Leandro PD., 8. Pleasanton PD, 9. Emeryville PD., 10. Newark PD., 11. Solano Cty-Vacaville police, 12. Alameda PD 13. Cal Highway Patrol 14. Santa Clara Sheriffs 15. San Francisco Sheriffs 16. San Jose Police

  • @brainphreak Have you ever stopped to think the cops did NOT take direct aim at you when firing crowd- control weapons. Still, no pity here. They were told to disperse. They did not, thereby evoking the police to respond. You don't want "shot at"? Then do what the police tell you. Clear out, go home, and you don't get "shot at", arrested, your head busted, etc. Of course if you want a riot then stay and take your lumps but don't bitch about it when it happens because you could've avoided it.

  • @Inquisitor53 - Now you appropriately quoted me. Yes thousands of protestors SHOT AT. You cannot argue if you watch the footage, that thousands were shot at.. Tear gas canisters flying through the air at groups of hundreds at a time, etc. I never said it was lethal, I did mention several times, including in the description of the video, the type of attacks carried out. You are deliberately misleading :) Even the news never claimed there was a riot? You just make it up as you go along dont you?

  • @brainphreak Shall I quote you? "...thousands of people at a public protest being shot at..." Does that read like a misquote? You didn't mention it was with pepperspray, teargas, & rubber bullets. If they were shooting at you they would've hit you. You make it sound like the cops were using lethal ammunition. An omission you deliberately left out? Nobody forced any of you to be there and create a riot. Are all of you too stupid to leave when you see trouble coming your way? Apparently!

  • @Inquisitor53 - But what you fill your posts with so many errors and incorrect statements :)

There are occupy protests now in over 900 locations. This type of 'attack' only happened in Oakland... This is very telling, its the same protest event in all these locations, only Oakland decided to abuse power. In fact they even admit they handled it inappropriately, so you are the only one making these claims that it was necessary, not even the police. 1000's were shot? You even misquoted me haha

  • @brainphreak You say this is going nowhere, I disagree. I'm informing you of how the real world functions & with logic inform you as to why the cops are busting heads on occupiers but never need to with tea party members. Strange, the only ones shooting with lethal weapons & killing are occupiers, not cops. "...thousands of people at a public protest being shot..." Now you're talking shit and you know it! If you can't at least ATTEMPT to be HONEST in this debate then it ends here & now.

  • @Inquisitor53 ... Comparing day to night are we? Behaviour & reputation mean everything in this world whether you like it or not. And you wonder why the tea party didn't get gassed & you did? You just don't get it, do you?

  • @Inquisitor53 ... when it was when they arrived, don't promote or cause violence, there is no illegal drug use, no anti-semitism, no rapes, no murders, no child endangerment, no spreading of STDs, no destruction of public or private property, no welcoming of the nazis, commies, socialists or any org that promotes violence, and work WITH law enforcement to assist them anyway possible. So where would be the need for tear gas?

    Occupiers on the other hand...

So do you really compare the two? ...

  • @brainphreak 1. What the tea party did was completely legal so where's the controversy? With whom? Lame street media? The left? They were the only ones making a stink over it due to their hatred of the Constitution & the Bill of Rights, especially the 2nd Amendment. They portray any firearm owner as a menace to society when in fact those legally owning a firearm are responsible citizens and when protesting do so legally, don't camp out where they meet, always keep their area cleaner than ...

  • Your friend was probably not telling you everything... Probably had some sort of history/relation that was reasonable suspicion of guilt. The justice system inst perfect, and even though many cops and laywers are corrupt, they don't make a habit of throwing innocent people behind bars.

Giant GROUP arrests and attacks of thousands are rare, and are specific to 'clear the area' not to arrest those few guilty. Its very easy to arrest the guy in the mask vandalizing shit. This is abuse of power.

  • @Inquisitor53 - This is going nowhere... I understand where you are coming from. True. People CAN be in the wrong place at the wrong time, in drug deals gone bad etc. If you DONT rat out a friend you KNOW did something illegal and get caught doing it. yes.

However, this is very very different from thousands of people at a public protest being shot at because a couple people broke the law. Their behavior is NOT condoned by the other protestors, and is NOT concealed from police. Arrest the few!
