A percussion string instrument that has been around since biblical times, the "Santur" may have been invented in Iran, and is possibly a precursor to the piano. In India, it's called a Santoor. In Italy and Spain, a Salterio. In English, it's called a Hammered Dulcimer

It is called a cymbalom - which is defined as a "large Hungarian dulcimer". ORIGIN late 19th cent.: from Hungarian, from Italian cembalo, cimbalo, from Latin cymbalum (see cymbal ).
For those interested in the history of this instrument - which orginated in Persia (Iran) around 620 A.D., read "The Hammered Dulcimer": A History, by Paul Gifford. You can get it from Amazon
