My daguerreotype camera

This video shows how I managed to make my own camera for the daguerreotypes. The lens was taken from a very cheap chinese binoculars but very good if you close it a little with a circular opening of about 8 mm diameter.

Interesting. I bet you would get some looks if you took that thing outside. It does not look like your typical camera, but if it works, and you were trying to be frugal, you succeeded.
