2 x 2 weave training Mindy!

Mindy has come on in leaps and bounds with her weave training, this was her first session on 6 and 6 weaves, which I will gradually bring together, but as you can see, her succes rate was very high with only one mistake in this session. What a clever little Chinese Crested she is.

This is the first time I have tried another way of teaching the weaves to a new dog, I've really enjoyed it, although I enjoyed the other method too(which was 3 upright and a clicker) this time it was a mixture of Susan Garrett 2 x 2 (from her book) and a little twist from Mary Ellen

Oh yes, this was the whole session with Ian on the camera, cutting out me playing tuggy with her.

Hi there, Mindy is 13 months old, we started training the weaves at 12 months. This method worked great for her as she was already clicker trained and knew all about shaping - which helped.
