This video is meant to illustrate that there is a disease killing the
planet. The disease is civilization; the cannibal sickness, the
wetiko virus; it is not humankind as a species. For the majority of our
history, humankind has lived just fine without "civilization."

  • watch the first few minutes of 2001 - when the apes kick the shit out of the other apes to gain the watering hole - that scene was a depiction of the dynamic that is now elite class vs exploited poor class. But most of the poor would have been just as ruthless given the opportunity. Competition for survival - dominance - is the basis of all physical life. that dynamic is the problem - civilization is merely an expression of it -the most dominant corralled the rest into an exploitable resource

  • It has been claimed that the incidence of pedophilia among Afghanistan men is about 50%. Yet its considered a horror in the USA. Why the difference? Unless one is going to claim that Afghanis are racially inferior then the only answer left is social training. This is the grim fact underlying morality in human beings - human is basically born selfish & trained to be "good". The problem is that physical life is incompatible with the welfare of a spirit being - cosmos not a good thing but a prison

  • i'd prefer if love was the basis of our world - but the fact is that aggressive predatory behavior is the way of nature -just look at the animal kingdom. Before civilization it was still the same way - men would just take a woman and rape her. Civilization is the gun -and behaving oneself has been trained into people so that now most everyone has a policeman in their head. But what passes as innate goodness is most often social training. i.e Notice that the morals change based on culture/region

  • @dgraustralia Thanks! Yea, I made that one too.

  • @dgraustralia Oh I just saw "War on the Natural World" on your channel. Did you make that one too? Outstanding!

  • Great video, Green. I can see that you've been working hard since you made "Forget Hope." This one has a real sense of urgency and tells a story, and both videos make great use of music.

  • Right The Fuck On!!
