@MrUnderdude The shut up was meant for music snobs, who think they're better than others for dressing a certain way/ listening to a certain band. But yes in general I don't think people should ostracized for not listening to mainstream music. I suppose a real hipster would not brag about or admit to being a hipster...Peace.

@KetOoKa889 You're talking about the idiots who strut around cities and coffee shops trying to look cool for people they don't know.I'm talking about people who are slandered for listening to amazing music because it's not popular. If you're telling me to shut up I can tell you that I'm mastering an instrument that I play everyday which I consider art. Before it pops up I'm not trying to brag but prove my point that doesn't matter.Honesty I didn't want this.Let's love this music. Peace?:)

@MrUnderdude Too many people call themselves hipsters. In trying to be non-conformist, they have conformed. Seriously. Why can't people just like music that they enjoy listening too or agree with, instead of using it as a goddamn social statement. And I am soo sick of people being snobby over how 'arty' they are. IT's not like they create the art themselves. SO shut up. If I wanted I could piss all over everyone else's music choice and go listen to Mozart.

@liliprincess717 EXACTLY. That always happens! I find a great band or singer that I love for like a few months but then everyone finds out about them, they're overplayed, and I hate them

I like to think of a hipster as a critic with a acoustic guitar and coffee.

@13mastergamer13 To be honest, hipster is just a mock name for people who enjoy this kind of stuff, the things that have a low fanbase. The word is supposed to be an insult, and it describes something most people called the word are not. I enjoy a large number of basically unknown things, and I also enjoy a lot of popular things. My favorite band is Gorillaz, even. But I love these unknown things because they're fresh, new, unspoiled. Such as this band. They're pleasing to my ears. So I like 'em

@MrUnderdude Naw, if you like something obscure, that's cool. If you listen to something obscure for the sake of being obscure and totally shun anything that has three or more fans, you're a hipster douchebag. I listen to EBM, far from the mainstream where I'm from. But I listen because I enjoy it, not because of a low fanbase.

in the Ukrainian The Features not porulyarny on the europe, bat this band very good!!!

Sometimes I wonder how amazing bands like this aren't as popular as the well-known ones. Then I remember that every time I have an artist/band that I like, and it becomes popular, I start to hate it. And I love being one of those people who just happen to find all those good unpopular artists/bands

@canucklehead132 Hipsters are over-stereotyped to be smug, high class jerks. In fact the actual idea of being a hipster is one who finds new music, creates and brings back styles, encourages independent thought, and appreciates art in a different way. The internet has basically destroyed what people really should think about "hipsters." They change things. People who don't like "hipsters" are those who can't handle change. Go ahead and call me a hipster. I'll say thanks, and calmly walk away. :)
