Oh i remember this game it was one of the best back in its day.i way going to buy it off the wii shop channel but i got sonic mega collection lol so i said it would be a waste of wii points anyways nice review! oh yea and i always hated the special stages so dam hard lol

I feel sorry for you. The Pal version of Sonic is only 83% the speed of the NTSC version. You got a slower sonic

This hurt to watch...

There are SEVEN Zones. Six if you don't want to count the Final Zone (which isn't realy a proper one). The "Casino" Zone didn't appear until Sonic 2, though Spring Yard Zone had some pinball elements in it.

Yes, the Chaos Emeralds just changed the ending, but you could have sounded a little more confident.

At least you had a believable "Fuck!" of frustration in there on the Special Stages, which were evil.

Oh, and one thing; ROBOTNIK! He is called ROBOTNIK!

I must be nerdy and correct you here. There are infact 6 zones in Sonic the hedgehog, not 5. And he's not called the dr. Eggman geezer, its Dr. Robotnik. LOL

Nice review either way. It seems all a little slowed down compared to old megadrive game?

I was so annoyed that it was released on Wii's service first. The it appeared on XBOX Live Marketplace. I was so happy that day. Brought back loads of memorys. That and the fact that I never actually finished the game itself. LOL.
