Gary Numan - Conversation Final Demo

Had a little more time to flesh out and tweak this short demo. Although this is only a small part of Gary Numan's Conversation, the demo has unintentionally transformed into a song in its own right.

The earlier version posted was well......crap, so I've deleted it.

Korg MS 2000 synthesizer - bass synth/vocoder.
Alesis Fusion synthesizer - Polymoog (Vox Humana) patch/SFX.
Synare 3 drum synthesizer - Numanesque synthetic percussion.

I've now finished laying down the tracks to Cars. Unfortunately, I didn't find enough time to mix the track before setting off for London (300 odd miles from home). I'll be back home next Monday or Tuesday, I'll then do a rough mix and post the song on YouTube ASAP.

Love the way you have interpreted this track...

You cant beat a Korg and a Polymoog in my opinion...And as someone wrote elsewhere, Numan would be quite pleased i think

Like it, I've been playing Paul Gardiners ' Bass lines for around 30 years and i have sequenced a few on the computer, but its so much better to hear someone else's 'Numan' work than my own :) - i am chiefly a bass guitarist not a synth player or singer, so i can have hours of cool fun playing my (as accurate as i can get it) Paul Gardiner type Bass along. Great work..

its pretty close. all sounds very 80s which is a difficult sound to create using analog modelling synths, Great...
