  • wow...have been waiting for the LP version. Still remember the first time I heard this song with Charlotte at her sisters. Thought I'd died and gone to Heaven. Bought the 8-track for the trek across MO, AR, LA and TX in my green VW Bug with my best friend, Kathy. We played it so much, we broke the tape and had to buy a new one, 'cause we couldn't finish the trip without America and Three Roses!! Thanks for posting one of my best times in life--beginning in '71--40 years ago (class of '71)

  • @dlynnatkinson You're welcome. This album has really stood the test of time. It's as bright and fresh now as it was 40 years ago :)

  • finally someone post this tune thank you so much i think this tune really encases the america sound

  • @able506 I agree. In many ways it really is the quintessential America song - the breezy acoustic guitars, their lush signature harmonies.... I just love it :)
