SC2 Challenge Mission-Infestation Strategy

Like I said in the video, I am planning on doing every single Challenge mission. I'll try to upload 2 or 3 every day, as long as I have the time.

So, the basic idea in Infestation is to Neural Parasite every heavy hitting unit- every tank and Colossus can be NP'd, and if you can do so without taking any Infestor losses, you'll easily be able to break the 150 kill goal. You should be using the Roaches primarily for cleaning up smaller groups (SW area) and scouting to optimize the range of your Siege Tanks.

Actually you can throw some Neural Parasite while burrowed mate ;) unless they change it in last patch.

Try it like this: select all your Infestors and hold Shift while you hit R - E real quick and Voila! now you have all your Neural Parasites queued up and you only have to left click your targets and the closest Infestor will go there and do NP while burrowed =)

Let me know if this still works cause i dont have SC2 yet :(, hopefully this week.

@Nilasus I'm not sure about in game, but at least in this challenge, the only ability you can use while burrowed is spawn Infested Terran. Thanks, though, I did forget that you used to be able to do it while burrowed, and it obviously would have made this challenge even easier.

just a tip for Psionic Assualt, u can save and load ur game as much as you want. So after a while u can save and if u lose, u can load from that point on.

the templar close to the scvs at end is handy he can take out a large ammount with two casts of storm. I like to neural parasite him

@magus424 You can actually. Just press the hotkey before your infestor finishes burrowing.

@ScootandSeaGnome No,Nilasus is right. You press r then e quickly and the infestor burrows and throws up the targetting display for neural parasite.

In game and in this challenge, I just did it 2 minutes ago.

So again, you burrow, move into position, unburrow, then quickly press r e and youre safe underground ready to parasite.

I ALWAYS THOUGht for my last couple hundred of games that neural paraiste was ONLY to neutralize like the pheonix, just nuetralize both infestor and victim and just *STAY* there, didnt know you could CONTROL IT omfgggggg gotta play zerg!
