No Scotty Moore, no Elvis in my book...
-
It was Scotty's guitar playing that influenced so many of my guitar heroes. He's a legend without the ego.

thanks scotty moore,,,

I was fortunate enough to see Scotty Moore play this, backed up by guitarist Johnny A, and Lee Rocker from Stray cats.. He's a bit more subtle (as you see here) than today's rock & rollers. I'm sure it wasnt' that way back in the day, but I'm just glad I got to see a rock & roll legend do this number.

@Vermillion2176 Good point... Clapton has always been musicly respectful & willing to give up the spotlight to who ever is comin on the stage. Just one of the things that makes him great... Plus lets never forget Scotty MORE than earned that respect :) Two GREAT players ... LOVE em both... THANKS to the powers that be for this post.
