This isn't the Original white cover....i've got the original
the original one gives u a kind of a gold shade when u view it from different angles
but this is just pure white

be careful of seperating it, it can break your lcd when seperating thats what happened to me. so i had to buy another lcd and just kept the black frame on the screen.

did you replace the top screen part aswell?, how hard was it?

What did you glue it back with? I man handled my screen a bit to much taking the glue off and bought a new one with a white lens already on it lol

Is it a must to purchase another LCD screen or can the black frame be removed from the phones default lcd and than replaced with the white frame?

u can buy the white lcd frame separately. u can separate the black lcd frame from the lcd then attach the lcd to the white frame. that is what i did.

can you please tell me how you put the white screen protector on and how you removed the black standard one???

the housing came with a white frame. i had to slowly pry the black frame from the replacement lcd and attach it to the white frame, otherwise it would be too thick and not fit when assembled. oh and i had to slowly remove a bunch of adhesive from the lcd afterwards that was binding the lcd to the black frame. it was messy. all parts, battery, charger, lcd, housing and trackball were ordered from ebay.
