Bee Gees - How Deep Is Your Love (Composition Session)

Only an audio - a composition session of love song that represent the 20th century that should keep being told to the next generation.

This song is one of the Bee Gees most well-known songs, was the big love ballad in Saturday Night Fever.
Once again Barry worked out the melody with Blue Weaver, not credited this time around.
Blue's recollection is that they made only a demo at Le Château, with Albhy Galuten taking over the piano by the end of the session, and that Blue came up with the now well-known keyboard line when they recorded it again at Criteria Studio Florida.
It won a Grammy for best group vocal, and all three Gibbs do sing on it, but many of the voices are Barry's.

I'm crying of joy.. this is beautiful!! Glad to find a "demo" of it.. the birth of such a gorgeous love song! I always cry listening to the finished version... :( wow... thanks! and I was born in 1982.... but I have such a love for old music :)

This is one of the most facinating records I have ever heard. Even more so considering that this is a song that went on to sell millions and was covered hundred and hundreds of times by other artists. It's a priceless look at a legendary songwriting group creating a work of art. You learn more here about songwriting than you'd learn at stage school - and most importantly what you get here is free. I will treasure this recording. Thank you for posting it!

The main section where the song really progresses is missing. Barry must've written that without the tape recorder. I would loved to have known how it took shape after the tape recorder went off.
