  • I bought a lot expensive art supplies, but indeed, it haven't made me drew better. Well my works did really became a bit polished well compared to the rough art I made before. But, I can say it "CAN help" you make better works. But that "wouldn'"t give a big boost on your work. Everything still depends on practice, mastery and stuff. But, in art supplies, you better "choose or discover where you are comfortable with." That can help you out. :)

  • I'm terrible at drawing even though all my life I dreamt of being an artist....you're a great inspiration :)

By the way...How can you talk and focus on drawing at the same time??? :-o

  • i have problems drawing with a 2B pencil like that is my enemy.Probably pecause it's kinda too soft for me. I draw witha H and HB.

  • Awesome! is all of it hand drawn and painted? or did you scan your drawing in and painted it there?

  • I understand this might be off topic but i just use simple supplies BUT the question is ive been learning from people who are right handed and im left does it matter? I can do the art but ive noticed its seems just different idk

  • Plain and simple like Crilley said, art supplies don't make the artist. I've seen people draw beautiful artworks with DIRT!!

High quality supplies will help in different areas but won't make you any better.

Guys! here is a quote from a deviant artist that I live by now

"The good artists are the crappy artists who never gave up"

hope this gives you some inspiration

  • Why didn't i know about that Brody's Ghost book!! *buys it*

  • @OpusMagenum try flipping the sketchbook paper over, to the back side... its usually less grainy on that side

  • I agree. I've seen too many people use great art supplies (like Copic Markers) and produce cruddy work. Because they believe these markers will turn their stick figure into a Da Vinci. And it's not true. If you want to be a great artist, don't rely on materials to make you good. You have to know how to DRAW first. And that doesn't mean just knowing how to draw a head or face, I mean the entire human body, animals, landscapes, scenery, buildings, everything! If you don't have good foundations y

  • I...LIKE....YOUR....RULER

  • talking and drawing at the same time, are you a wizard?

  • If you haven't already realised i've looked through a bunch of you're videos and done a comment basically saying AMAAAZING!!!!!!!!!! What are you working on in this video is it a random panel/strip or is it a project you've been working on. Also I know what you're saying about quality of tools, I had a set of pens that kept leaking and smudging whenever I got to the end of colouring a picture I was proud of. Again love your drawings.
