Note: Thanks to finally getting a job in Japan, I don't have time to finish off the series right now. I will definitely get to it, and you are free to ask me questions in the comments, in private message, or at chase@webbsenglish.com.

This is my first video in a series about working in Japan. In the first series of videos I will detail the things you should know if you want a non-English teaching job in Japan. After I have completed all of the steps I will then start making videos about my experiences working in a real Japanese company for the first time.

  • nice video sir.. would you recommend attempting to find a job in Japan before going to Japan or after arriving in Japan?

  • @Victorkapz Without a doubt, after arriving in Japan, but not if you're here on a tourist Visa.

  • I am TOTALLY still going to do the rest of these videos... I just need enough time off from work to finish them all!

  • I really need to know sth... im latinoamerican but I've studied english since I was 7 years old so I'm very skilled at it. The thing is that I do not know if my possibilities of finding a job and getting one would be the same for me as for those english speaking natives.

  • @KEIIN0056 Honestly, it would hurt your chances a lot if you don't sound like you are at native level fluency. Also, looks can unfortunately play a role in hiring here when it comes to foreigners. The chances aren't eliminated by any means, but the best teaching jobs usually go to white Americans, Canadians, English people, Australians and New Zealand natives.
