AWESOME!!!! u got ur dino timelines off a little but other than that, AWESOME!!!! and i may have a job for u but i'll have to wait and c, btw where did u get those models, daz3d?

Yeah the time lines of the dinos are off...i favoured the look and story telling instead and some of the models came from daz and renderosity.

How did you do the explosion??!?!?!

Explosions were created in After effects 5 using simple shapes created in photoshop and then animated in AFX while adding some plug-ins to them. Using this technique aswell as building up the shot with layers of different effects i was able to create the illusion of an explosion of impact. All of the explosion shots are 2D. No 3D was used in those shots. Bascially each explosion shots has several movies of explosions running in them at the same time of various different looks.

Wow!!! Fabulous job on the realism. Great angles and video effects. Had a real documentary feel with the slow passes, zoom outs, camera shake even. The particle effects on the explosion. A great little saga to take us through the landscape to see it all. Brilliant!!
