Crescent Medical Aid Kenya

Crescent Medical Aid Kenya is a Non-Governmental Organisation, inaugurated in 1976 with the establishment of its first out-patient clinic in Nairobi, Kenya.

Crescent Medical Aid is a non-profit making organisation dedicated to the service of humanity in the field of curative and preventive health care open to all regardless of individual religion, colour or creed.

In Kenya there is so much poverty spread across a multitude of different races and creeds, Crescent Medical Aid does not differentiate and attends to all equally.

Objectives - The main object for providing a wide range of preventive and curative services is to facilitate medical treatment specifically to the poor members of our society.

For this reason most of the clinics are located in high density slums areas of Nairobi. Additional services include maternal and child health care services, immunisation of children, treatment of sexually transmitted diseases, counselling of HIV/AIDS patients and Executive Clinic which provide affordable consultancy services.

Free Treatment - Crescent Medical Aid Kenya meets is ideals and objectives by offering free medical services, mainly to the disabled, the destitute and the aged.

Appeal for Assistance - In order to sustain the level of efficiency of the medical services we provide and retain the minimal fees charged at our clinics ( including provision of free treatment to the disabled ), we appeal to both the local and international institutions for financial assistance and/or donation of medical supplies and equipment which form the bulk of our expenditure.

The poor, the disabled and the aged need our services. Help us to help them.
