Thanks for the info, I will do an online search to find the lodi cover by who you suggested.I'm vigilant, I was one of those people that go used recods & to go to the used record stores, they were called head sheads then & look for records. It took me a long time to find the 45 not a full LP for the song dead skunk. I know a couple of guys that would catch them and a dog as well & got sprayed & tried tomato juice to get the spary stink off. But, I started off with an 8 track car stereo.

Hey buddy, a few years back I saw the ccr revisted band at the local country fair in Lynden Wa, there is 1 orginal left and was based from the next county down from me between te Canadian border and Seattle at that time. My favorite slow song by them is hard to pick, but it would have to be Lodi. Decades ago I got a chance to see the Guess Who at the annual fair which had only 1 orginal band member. My wife didn't make the fair one year Garth Brooks made a cameo his current wife's show.
