I had five hours of silky smooth flying along the Dorset Coast between West Bay and Charmouth. Great fun, especially as it was the first time I'd flown there.

  • what a great place to fly must try it next time what was the wind strength

  • @sandysteve97 The wind was quite light to start with then picked up a little. The direction was WSW when we arrived at midday, but by 1700 it was the perfect SSW. By 1430 the wind was a great strength for messing about low down above the beach, but still fine higher up too, though it might have been a bit tricky taking off higher up. But you can take off at the beach.

  • @sandysteve97 I'm trying to include a link to the Portland wind website but it's not letting me include a URL... I'll send it via FB.

  • looks a cool place to fly! will add that to my list

  • He he he, that's me at 3:03 on the red Ozone Rush. I've never seen myself on video before on that wing. It was a lovely day of flying - although I wish I'd crossed the gap to Golden Cap. Good to see you again Tim.
