  • That shouldn't be too important at first except that you don't want the top of it to be much thinner than the top of the handle would be finished. Once you attach the handle on top, you pull it off the mug itself (or pitcher). When you loop it over to attach the bottom, it should be 'ear shaped' and not come out too much - then just attach the bottom and pull off whatever excess is there. I'll ask BvG and see if he can maybe do a handle pulling demo for youtube. He is king of pulled handles.

  • I had to show a high school class how to pull a hand and it went just like this. There is no way to be serious when in doing so. With that aside just thought I'd let you know, I will be writing my final paper in my collage ceramics course on you and your artwork! :)

  • That looks like it was a wonderful workshop! The part I seem to struggle with is the length I need for a handle...(where to cut off at the top & where to stop at the bottom)
