Basic Muzzle Flash Tut

READ THIS FIRST!!!

For those of you who think youre better at Pivot than I am then go ahead and think so, I wont stop you or anything. Its just that you shouldnt be watching this video with that kind of attitude. So if you are a n00b and you want to learn some muzzle flash techniques for Pivot, or youre just interested in how I sometimes (not always) do flashes, this little tut shows you a bit of realistic shooting including AK47 backblast, empty casings, recoil, ground shake, and flash. Thanks and I hope you like it! PLEASE TELL ME if you need more tuts on ANYTHING I will do my best.

one thing, though.

You will almost never see a muzzle flash on a rifle, and if you did, it wouldn't be any where near that big.

That's totally true - but when it comes to stick animations it just doesn't cut it to have a stick guy weirdly moving back and forth with his gun. haha

um, make a really, really small line like 0.8cm long. add it to animation... color it brass color... you're done!

of course you can do it the hard way and try to make it detailed but i don't see the point of it because it flashes out only for like 2 seconds

@yellowmadness54 Actually there is always a flare most of the time camera's just don't catch it because it's not high speed enough. Muzzle flashes also make it look cooler imo
