what if a person got saved but backslid that their fruits no longer showed? wouldn't christians confuse that person as unsaved when they were just backslidden?

1st off sorry about all the duplicate posts, stupid internet lol
2nd-Paul gives allusion to the fact that these fruit are works, maybe a better word would be characteristics. Love joy peace etc. Go check out Galatians 5:19-25 especially pay attention to verse 21. I would put it up here but i'm afraid i don't have the room. To paraphrase Paul is saying that those who have this set of characteristics arent saved, but this set are. My question is Lordship teaches that you must hate sin. Do you?

A good tree does not bring forth evil fruit. BUT, who said that works are the fruit mentioned? Look at these guys! They prophesied, cast out devils, did all kinds of wonderful works in Jesus' name! Yet, Jesus never even knew them. how sad.

But you said yourself that that is not possible. Good fruit doesn't come from bad trees and vice versa, so how do evil false prophets do good works?
