this guy spend so much and actually had the balls modify esprit up to 700hp, he will obviously have upgraded the trans with some bullet proof parts.

So it has a top speed of 210 instead of 175mph. On a race track, I doubt it matters much. All that body work and extra weight in the rear probably messed up a previously nicely balanced car. I am curious what replacement he used for the transmission, though... rumor has it the V8 had to be de-tuned from 500+hp to 350 just because of the tranny.

A lotus is made for cornering, not to make it heavier with NOS-tanks. That's for American cars like Corvettes. Too bad they didn't drive it on camera though...

You don't purge the nitrous to " get instant boost " you purge it to get the pressure down around 900PSI ( the solenoids don't like it much over that pressure)As well as clearing the vaporized N2o out of the line and liquid N2o into the line. He needs thermostatically controlled bottle heaters and remote opening valves. Think it would be much better off with methanol injection than propane injection.

I"ve seen this car in person, he had it at an import show in Denver. A lotus owner with a sport compact tuner mind set. I liked the twin HKS BOVs, no performance effect but not something you'd expect to see on a v8 Espirt. . I think it had garret ball bearing turbos but I didn't get what size the turbos were. He was a cool guy, he said though, at the time, he was having trouble with it, I think tuning wise.
