Shaka Sign Tours is a company specializing in Beach Sports. At the moment Shaka Sign provides training on surfing & snorkeling while it manages coastal sightseeing tours (boat rides).

Beach Sports known to many as a risky sport but one of the best to give an individual the adrenaline rush. While it's popular all around the world, it's beginning to become a new life style in Sri Lanka, "The beach Attitude".

With this emerging sport, Shaka Sign is willing to give its customers the best for the value of their money and while the thrill is irresistible. It is also plans to ensure the safety of all customers. Shaka Sign is starting off with four selected places, namely -- Madiha, Mirissa, Weligama, and Welikanda (Polhena); the southern side of the country. While the beach sport season starts in September (South) the selected places are an unbelievable taste of tourists and also a major local attraction.

:: Madiha
Located in the city of Matara which is a three hour ride from Colombo, it is a hideaway spot on the Sri Lankan Surf map. It's known to professional surfers as a point to have "peace in mind". The specialty about Madiha is that it has 2 main points. The left point and the right point. The left point caters to Pro surfers with waves up to 8 feet tall while the right point is just ideal for beginners for the fun waves it generates.

::Mirissa
Could be described as a Paradise, it's just ten minutes ride from Madiha towards Galle. It is ideal for snorkeling where as it's known as the "surf point by the mountain". It has a wide stretch of beach ideal for sun bathing. It's also known for its active beach night life with many cabanas situated in the beach front.

:: Weligama
A half an hour ride from Madiha passing some of the best beach sights, Weligama is a natural bay with a beautiful mountain stretch. It has a very long fun wave which is ideal for beginners (surfing); it has a perfect wind and geographical conditions for wind and kite surfing. It's also one of the best spots for snorkeling with a stretch of clear sky blue water.

:: Welikanda
Also known as "Polhena", Welikanda is a five minute drive from the main point in Madiha. It could be rightfully described as a snorkeler's paradise where one gets to lay their eyes on many species of marine water fish and a variety of amazing corals. This is an unbelievable experience which shouldn't be missed by a beach lover.
