I don't know. Even when I play 20 ping on GGPO it frame skips worse than OE and I have noticeable input delay. Ports are forwarded correctly and afaik settings are fine.. set to 0 frames delay and default blitter. My only complaint with OE is the matchmaking and the scrubs who play it.

@Isuju That's a shame, because I have a great experience with very little problems. I noticed though if you are using vista or even windows 7, disabling the aero theme greatly improves the experience if you don't have the best computer. I have a quad core AMD PC and disabling the aero theme even helps me.

@majinvegy Not a big fan. Match-making is horrible, and I play on PSN where the network just sucks ingeneral so my games are way laggier than on PC..

@Isuju ggpo runs best on windows xp, there are certain configs to make it run better on 7/vista but if u really want it to run best, just dual boot xp

Turning aero off actually helped alot, even though I have a great computer. I still dunno though, it's certainly playable, but things that I never drop on OE just don't work half the time on GGPO. Mainly karas.
