A very quiet small air compressor

I dont think that this is very smart.... These litle things are capable of pumping air up to 20 BAR!!!! That vessel is rated probably for only 8 BAR... I wouldnt mess with that..... Just my opinnion.

How long has this system been working? Is it capable of starting under pressure and what does the pressure need to drop to in order for it to start?

It's been working fine for a year or so.....I only ever use ressures of about 40psi, and it has no problem starting under that. It has a pressure switch, so you can preset the pressure, it operates just like a normal compressor. If the pump should fail at some point I'll get another from the scrapyard ;-)
