This video is a visit to Universitat de Lleida in Catalonia. Lleida is using Sakai for its entire intranet in addition to its as teaching, learning, and collaboration. Lledia is also using Sakai as part of an effort with the Open University of Catalonia to develop a uniform campus-IT system based fully on open source. We visit with Carles Mateu, the CIO of Lleida as well as the development team (Alex Ballesté Crevillén, David Barroso, Jose Garcia, and Carol Manchó) who internationalized Sakai during early 2005. Lleida also received a Mellon Foundation MATC award in 2006 for their work on Sakai.
