I am sick to death of people misusing the disabled parking spots. My sister Michelle uses a wheelchair and has a parking permit. She doesn't drive. We need to use those spots so that she has enough room to get in and out of the car.

the only time the site SHOULD be effective is when there is NO placard hooked on the mirror. not because someone "looked seemingly able-bodied".

I almost got arrested because the person that was violating the handicap parking spot was a relative to a cop. nice

Its a problem but its also a problem when none of the spots are used and youre forced to leave them open even though there's like...50 of them at a large movie theater

To me, if you drive a Lexus or a (new) Mercedes, you are not handicapped enough to be considered handicapped.

I think they should enforce a $5,000 fine for using a handicapped parking spot if you are not handicapped. I hate it when people do that, and I have gotten in a argument on a couple of occasions with people that do it. I usually take a few pics and videos ( make sure you get the person getting in or out of the car...out of is better) and burn it to disc and give it to the police

@cimanon I do agree, My wife is handicapped. Somedays she can walk pretty good, then other days, she needs her 4 legged walker. So I never make judgments on the person. Only if they have plates/placard. I've been threatened for taking videos of handicapped parking abusers here in San Antonio. I have only gone out about 5 / 6 times from Dec. to Feb and have about 30 videos of the dirtbags posted or scheduled for my website unfrackinbelievable com.

wish we had this in the uk . i am sick and tired of people using disabled bays . not just the ones who use them without a badge but the ones who have badges when they are fine or "borrow" a badge from someone who is already disabled. the genuine among us really need these bays , i could not get around without them .if your one of them please stop.

@dave2806 I had a argument with a couple who took a disabled space i wanted because i could see they were quite able bodied .they had a blue badge, Why should i get prioraty over them its simple there was a regular space nearer to the door of the supermarket to witch I pointed out and I needed the WIDE disabled space to trans into my chair but they refused to see the logic they had a blue badge and the were damwell going to use it .

@babyg0323 They're NOT asking for better treatment, just equal treatment. Parking in the back means an increased chance of getting run over by other vehicles. And I also suggest you learn a little bit about compassion and grow a heart.
