@TykiaOfficial Absolute power corrupts absolutely, it's so easy to succumb to power when you're not used to it, particularly when you're dredged up from the lowest casts of society. that's what this show is demonstrating.

"why would there be cookies in the ground, your majesty?" LOL.
man, talk about dictatorship.

be nice to the people you meet on the way up, they're the same ones you meet on the way down

There aren't so many Bible references as there are life lessons.
Through power, humanity is corrupted. The "recess playground" is a microcosm of the world.

So King Bob is looking for someone who will do what he is told and not think for himself... and he picks Gus, they guy who like a week or so ago he challenged the empire. He either forgot who Gus was in a week or doesn't understand logic.

@TykiaOfficial Gus has a dark side...........
TJ: What happened? Gretchen: He didn't listen to reason.
It's a surprise that the feeling of power came over Gus, he is suppose to be the polite, caring and innocent one so the way he reacted about the kid not paying the cookie tax was shocking (please no responses with it's just a show) I am perfectly aware of that.
One last thing, I love Gus' song: Gus, Gus, oh mighty Gus, king of all the playground, Gus, Gus, oh shiny Gus, we're glad such a great king we found! L-O-L Oh brother indeed.
