Well. I'm 42 and remember Michael from the Limelight. I just had to watch Party Monster in here. I was never a club kid but was around them alot from 1989-1995. I just hope he gets out of prison in 2011 or 2012! He was such a fun guy to chat with. I just never did drugs! thank god! I wish you guys in here were around then to meet him. Now the Limelight IS A MALL! I live in CT now and often miss the club days. hit me up peeps!

He still CAN do those things... he only probably has a year left in prison, and he's writing books, painting, doing all kinds of creative stuff. Hopefully people can accept that he made some big mistakes but he's grown a lot and can be successful!

@lonelyqueen86 -i agree. it seems like the party scene has gone down hill. seems like everyone wants to be a hardass at parties now..ehh mabye it just the ones i go to..still sux tho

@gt1kidd Even if he'd have killed my brother that wouldn't change his personality, i always try to look at things in an objective way and if my brother would have died like angel, i think i wouldn't lay the blame on the murderer but on the fault of my brother being a drug dealer, because i think you can expect to be killed in this business. of curse that doesn't excuse a murder, but i think many people would have done the same with a half dead drug dealer in their flat. and they were on drugs.

I don't understand people saying he's a bad person, i mean okay, he killed somebody but that doesn't change his personality or what awesome things he did.

If you like what somebody is like (and he actually still is like that) then a murder doesn't change this i think...if madonna would kill somebody, her fans would leave her because they just love her because of TV shows saying good things about her. but if your mother kills somebody that's okay because you love her. And i like michael alig ü_ü

It's too bad that parties aren't about partying anymore, it's about hooking up with the hotest guy or girl and hump on the dance floor. Obviously I'm too young to have experienced the 80's and 90's partyscene but I remember seeing my friends' older siblings going to raves. I was only 8-9 and already wanted in on the limitless partying.
