yeah i just finished watching the film "Riding Giants" (Great movie) and watched this clip, and knew right away that this was Jaws.

That footage is absolutely real. That is Brad Gerlach riding the Ski and Mike Parsons riding the wave at Jaws. This was a tow in surfing contest. It occurred January of 2002 on the island of Maui.

um that isnt the largest wave ever surfed, laird hamilton has surfed bigger waves,
