This rare and lovely model of the Flying Scotsman was produced by Lilput of Austria between 1970 and 1973. It is as you can see in matt black and unnumbered with a tender drive. They were assembled in the UK by a Company called Thernglade. It runs and pulls beautifully being nice and heavy. There's nothing wrong with tender drive loco's !

  • Superb video and a great rare loco, you've made an excellent job of the scenery...5* Bob

  • I didn't know one like this was actually made. I have converted one of my old Flying Scotsmans into a br lined black version, and it's nearly ready to roll.

  • And it runs perfect;y on Hornby track? Fantastic?

Tell me. Can Honrby and Bachman run on the same type of track. Im never sure. The last time i had a trainset i was about 9 and had a mixture of Bachman and Honby stuff, but i cant remember if they did run on Honby track or not. Im considering building a new set you see...

  • 5**** s great video i love that colour .i just got my first pannier tank
