@ThePublicIsInsane God forgave them sure enough but handled that in a way to not interfere with freewill and laws of consequences but in any case forgiveness is vital, and remember that forgiving doesn't mean you have to trust the one you forgive but it is to free yourself! Best to you.

True story..I love my wife very much but I was fooled by the devil and fell from being devoted to her...I had an affair and she left me...I have gone to counseling and have tried to do everything I know to do biblically to reconcile with my wife and child...she still holds such bitterness towards me that she will not even discuss what we can do to reconcile...all I am asking is for the world to pray for us...her name is Jennifer...I believe in the forgiveness of the LORD but I am so weary

sometimes we hold grudges as a self protection and false sense of power. It feels better than to hurt. but it throws the self into a schism. It's like drugs. Feels good but so much damage and just not worth it at all. It turns living into existence and eventually turns us into hurtful people so we pass it on like a disease. It's just a cold moldy disease infested blanket killing life and beuty. Let's throw it off and be free. :)

@mssucks3462 I agree. everyone who has hurt me had been hurt. They apply aggressive self protection at the worst times. I disagree though about people not being evil. Some people are just evil.

You dont HAVE to forgive..do that cause it would feel so good to get this weight off your heart. Nobody deserve to carry a grudge...it's just too heavy and gets heavier as time passes. If someone hurt you try to understand some people make the wong choices cause they sometime dont know any better or had any better and act out of their own insecurities...there are no evil men\women..just men\women, who make bad choices

So beauttiful...so true... Who is to blame...? To forgive is learning to love yourself; to love your past.... Learning that all what happened is a part of you.... When you love 'that part', you can love yourself an you can truely love others and move on whith your life...
Thanks orchid for sharing this....
