  • I have been listening but this guy is starting to reeck of false teacher. denying all of what God is so you can focus in on the most palatable. Is the way to lead people astray.

  • Bart Campolo, you are a prophet.

  • In contrast to the knockers posting here, I just wanted to thank Bart for these thoughts, which have been tremendously helpful to me in my journey.

Whenever my doubts threaten to overwhelm my faith (often), I recall the question Bart raises - is faith being sure that all this (Bible, Christian tradition) is fact, or is faith being sure that I hope for this (a Loving God)? And as long as I can be sure I hope for this, my faith remains, despite my doubts.

  • Jesus tells us that the rain falls on the good and the evil. Why because God loves everyone the same. Jews are not special to God. We are all loved by God. Jesus tells us all the commandments are based on loving God and loving everyone else.

So if you look a scripture with out love . . . you have missed everything.

  • right on! Speak the truth!

  • Well, people are trying to force the world to take this as true tho ?

  • what did he say?! lol Godism? and his brand is Christianity?! lol

Well if ya take away the Bible(God's Word) and take away Jesus(God's Eternal Word made flesh) you wouldn't have anything.

He chooses the NAME Christianity to be a good counterfeit against the Truth of Jesus...reminds me of other known cults(CJCoLDS,JWs,CoS,and others) HE IS WRONG!! In addition: he's not in doubt about being WRONG!

  • See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.

    Colossians 2:8

For the time will come when men will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths.

    2 Timothy 4:3-4

  • No Biblical basis whatsoever.
