Billed as a Health Care Vigil supporters of Obama Care held a meeting in Los Angeles at Sen. Feinstein's office. Councilman Billy Rosenthal spoke. Keep an eye on the guy in the blue shirt about a minute in, he spots the sign and does a double take, the rest is priceless.

  • Everyone agrees that something needs to be done about Health Care. But its intellectually dishonest to believe that Government is the answer and not free market competition. Let's see Medicare, Medicaid BROKE Social Security, US Post Office, Amtrak, Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae also BROKE. 1.6 Trillion budget deficit and the President wants us to trust the Federal Gov. to run it better (without Tort reform) give America a break, see Sarah Palins response to Congressional speech XLNT.

  • How funny to be called a leftist? What does that mean?? Does it mean we are for the a public option to help people? does it mean we are for social security? Does it mean we are free education? Does it mean we don't want to be shafted by corporations? Or support the military industrial complex with wars?? Well if it means this is the things we are then call me what ever you want.

I guess you voted for Bush.

  • > Typical lefties -- their idea of "free speech" is to block out anyone who disagrees.

    > Google and read: Aryeh Spero : National Health Control is Neither Moral Nor Ethical

  • Nice to the first amendment in action. Can't say I agree with the yellow sign. I had a friend, a nurse, that filed bankruptcy to pay for her life saving operation. Funny thing, she HAD health insurance, but when she needed it, the company found some loophole and basically told her "sorry, you're on your own". Nobody should have to go broke because they got sick. Its clear that we can't allow the health care industry to continue with business as usual or many more will go broke, or even die.
