@monalacombe1 your son would be proud of you for letting others know his sacrifice instead of not letting nobody know. you obviously raised your son right and showed him how to be thankfull for all the things we have as americans and he showed how thankfull he was. he sacrificed himself to let the next generation and the genaration after enjoy the things he had such as freedom, and a wonderful mom. i wish i could have shaked his hand myself and told him what a great job he does. thank you

My dad went into war for everything he loved, was loving and could have loved. After 9/11 he was sent in, was amongst the first troops to go in, also amongst the first casualties. He gave me a flag before i left, and told me to raise it every morning and bring it down every night, and no matter what happens. That flag will always be there for me. R.I.P dad :,( i miss you so much you great man

13 people do not understand the cost of freedom is and have no respect for them.... anyone who disrespects what are men and women are doing over seas protecting us should go stand in front of them and take a bullet and see what the go through every day

god bless people like your son, i can tell you now he died for a purpose and i repect my fallen brothers. i would take any of their places if i could, and i would willingly fight along side of them. i dont know whats its like to loose a son, but ive lost many good friends and people that i cared so much for. not many know what kind of bond we share but if youdo its an incredible feeling knowing that any of them would die for you and i would do the same for them.love life and light

God bless you and your son! It is because of men like your son that all of us Americans have the liberties that we have. I could not imagine losing my son and the pain you must be suffering. You and your family are in my prayers. People other than veterans, their families, their spouses, their children, and other loved ones have no understanding of the sacrifices made by our military men and women.
