Kyle Forsthoff- Cello/Wed by David Lang

David's Lang's short piano works Cello and Wed, performed by Kyle Forsthoff and Ben Stiers, University of Kentucky, March 2009.

Cello and Wed are two works from Memory Pieces, Lang's collection of short piano studies written to commemorate the passing of friends. The only adjustment necessary to perform the pieces on vibraphones was a change of keys.

Wed has been released on two commercial recordings: Child (Cantaloupe) and Pierced (Naxos).
