@mikeguitarcoleman I have the amp and it is loud enough to play with a drummer and a full band, I think this amp can keep up really well on a small gig so dont worry
about the weight... this is a heavy bastard :(

Does the amp have footswitchable channels?
-
is this powerful enough for gigs?

I currently have a Fender Pro Junior (15 watt tube amp combo with a 10" speaker) and I am looking to pick up a solid state amp so I can run all my time based effects in stereo and run a dirty/clean mix with the dirt going to my PJ and the clean going to the SS amp. Do you think this amp can keep up with my 15 watt tube combo. I don't typically run my amp above 3 1/2 and it is quite loud. Thanks in advance for your response and thanks for the great demo!!

....Black guy with Dreds Like a Rastafarian, with a Hard Rock playing style...is this Vernon Reid from the band Living Colour?!?

@IMaDEM0N
No-Vernon would not be on here covering a Double Barrel :-)

Is the amp holding up well? I have been looking at 1 but they are now discontinued and replaced with the KG212 FX. The new one is only $11 more than the double barrel.

@dannyvawn
Yeah-they replaced these. I'll eventually get to the new ones. :-)

It should be o.k. may need to mic it though. I have used small wattage class a amps for gigging,but not solid state.
