No, for all our CES videos, we used a high def Canon camcorder, courtesy of Canon.

A key advantage he zi8 had for me was the external mic, especially since people had been saying the onboard mike is subpar. Do you know if they say they improved the audio recording clarity and internal noise reduction? I was about to buy the zi8 when I heard about this new model coming out.

That's SO cool! I hope it really does come out in April. That's the thing, often times you want to get an item and it doesn't come out when they say it will. I really really want this one. Hopeit's available everywhere.
