  • So what would 24 to a 1/4 :1 scale?

  • awesome vid! does this also apply to engineering scales? i have to make a mountain out of cardboard in a scale of 1''=100' Thank you!!!!! ^_^

  • @SalmonSammy2010 I know, I also use metric, I was just asking if it was difficult to switch from one to the other

  • @AlexWatkiss ok, thanks M8 boosted my confidence loads :)

  • @SalmonSammy2010 Heya, Architectural Technology is a really fun subject and if your not sure your drawing skills are 100% then dont worry because I'm pretty terrible at drawing. The nice thing about Arch Tech is that its based somewhere between Engineering and Architecture so for me personally its a constantly changing and interesting subject to take so if that sounds like something you would be interested in i suggest looking into it a bit further. As for drawing the key is perspectives.

  • @AlexWatkiss how are you finding Architectural tech to be? because I think this architectural tech looks really hard. can you give me a heads up on how to draw so accurately please m8?

  • @howtoarchitect when you say 1/2 scale do you mean 1/2 the scale of the house?? because 1/2 scale with a diecast model car would be 1/2 scale of a FULL car.

  • @SandorTodor Metric units are alot easier to work with :)

  • @punkysoso 1:1 it's REAL SIZE, 1:2 it's HALF of the REAL SIZE, so...

1:10 it's 10 TIMES SMALLER than REAL SIZE, 1:50 it's FIFTY TIMES SMALLER than REAL SIZE.....

    so.....1:50 it's SMALLEST than 1:10......

REMEMBER THE BIGGEST THE NUMBER THE MORE IT'S SIZED DOWN FROM IT'S REAL SIZE

  • it's more complicated than metric. 1 : 200 here in ph is overused. haha!
