Newsstand Glitch

This is a glitch that I located with the Newsstand app (or folder, or lovechild of the two entities...whatever the heck it is...it acts like both...). Once I realized that it had properties of both, I tested up the wazoo to find a glitch...and found this!

After confirming that this glitch is 100% reproducible, I filmed it.

1) Open Newsstand, then close it.
2) Confirm that it appears in the "fast app/multitasking bar".
3) Open a folder (IMPORTANT!!! You must not close the folder).
4) Open the "fast app/multitasking bar" and select Newsstand app/folder.
5) Tap the home button, and return to the page with the folder that you opened. The folders and icons should now be able to be freely moved around.

The only way to be able to move icons and folders "on the grid" again is to reboot the device.


Also, at the end of the video, I incorrectly identify this as "iOS beta 5", instead of "iOS 5 beta 1".

Newsstand is basically an app. That's not a glitch I have gold master and it's in multitasking bar. The other folders are not apps, they hold apps.

@shadowwolftutorials Some one woke up on the wrong side of the bed. It doesn't really act like an app, in that it holds all of your magazine subscriptions, but that's about it. It doesn't really do much except hold other things, LIKE A FOLDER.

You really shouldn't talk about things that you don't really have a clue on...

You can also open one of the glitches folders and it automatically puts them all back in order (well, that worked for me anyway).
