storyline ;; Zac's character is a loser but he really, really likes "Noel" aka Vanessa's character. Too bad she's dating Jesse's character, whose a super big jerk to him.

plot ;; (Let's just call them by their real names since there is a bit of a name confusion here...) We start off with Zac fantasizing/dreaming about Vanessa. When he tries to talk to her, she just walks right past him...to her boyfriend, Jesse. Zac smiles at her in class and Jesse doesn't like it. Later, Zac tries to impress Vanessa with his dance in the gym and she thinks he's funny. But when Jesse laughs too, Zac takes it as if she's laughing at him. Zac can't help but feel the way he does for Vanessa...and he can't help but hate Jesse. When he sees them kissing, he interrupts casually. Jesse tells him to stay away and when he walks away, Vanessa apologizes and walks away. On prom night, she finds Zac standing alone and offers to take him. They dance and wahlah. ;)
