dont shit against susperia, they are my favorite band, have respect, the guys are so fuckin cool, elegy and suffering is my best from this album but other songs are also great....... :)

@WolfieboyMachi totally agreed man.. that was the point i was trying to make... so many people think black metal has to be satanic or anti right handed path religion. Immortal are a great band, their fantasy lyrics are a nice touch... but abbath and demonaz(while he was still in immortal) played a very dark tone with low-fi recording style and crazy tremlo's. I think immortal is a great reminder that black metal doesnt have to have any religious or anti-religious message.

but just to clarify... Black metal doesn't need to necessarily be anti religion or occult...

The main influence behind BM for me is darkness, "anti the norm" and misanthrope, to me everything kinda stems from this.... For instance alot of depressive/suicidal bm has absolutely no occult, or religious slurs... yet it is 100% black metal because of the misanthrope and counter general population thought process.
