VAIO Media Gallery

VAIO Media Gallery is new software found on selected VAIO notebooks including the CW-series. Using intelligent analysis of your music, photos and video it helps you rediscover old media and find new things. How do I add videos to the Media Gallery. I've? tried setting the monitored folders, but didn't help. Media Player shows the sample photos and music, but not my or even the sample video. I'd very much like to stream my own videos from my Vaio to my PS3.

@quanitz Media Gallery isn't designed to stream videos to the PS3 - you want Media Plus; check out the Media Plus walk through on my channel page (Windows Media Player in Win7 will also do it). In Media Gallery, once you've set up monitored folders it can take a bit of time for it to scan them and note it will only pick up compatible file formats so that could be an issue.

how can i update my file to VAIO MEDIA GALLERY?

@TheSpamm94 i think you should go to SETTINGS -> Content Management tab -> Set the folders to monitor (F) , and check the folder(s) you have music you want to add, and after restarting the program it automatically adds all music. think so... hope it helps.

@sonylearntv Then I use the recovery as you've already suggested. Same :( Then I delete the whole program with an advanced uninstaller.Finally reinstall, update. And for the last try,I update the whole program manually, on a support page. And now, it's still the same. No music, old pictures stay.

I know that sony never makes garbage. So it has to be something that I forgot to try! :) (if the solution is waiting I'll be so sad I don't want to see those pictures) Pls help me (:♥♥ Thanksinadvance

@sonylearntv Hi there! I have been a happy user of a vaio for a year, I love it, so first of all, thank you sony! And about a week,I've just found my media gallery. There are a lot of pictures what I have deleted, and what I do not want to be there. First I tried to do an"update contents" it adds a lot of pictures, but the old ones stay there. After that I did a full analysis,then an update content. It adds a lot of more pictures (music not, why? :( ) but the old ones stay there.
