  • I think Robert's problem with this song is not that he is bored of it... It's rather an emotional problem. He fells hard to sing it after his son's death. He suggested once that he didn't believe in the lyrics anymore... The way he sais "I'd like to say I hope so" and "Sometimes that's all you've got" is so painful. He doesn't sing those lines after the solo, he shouts them in your face, and you can see the despair in his eyes when he sings the last line...

  • Led Zeppelin for ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • @LouderThanRosemary its a common riff that page made beautiful..taurus is boring as hell.. regardless the riff originated really from davey graham.. not spirit.. randy california gets away with murder in public opinion its bs alot of people love to talk shit on page..

  • Not one of their finer performances...

  • @Bruno1995Bruno sadly, no

  • Page is totally wasted and fucked up. Fuckin' drugs..

  • @SlugMcSlug No, cuz they didn't. They might have (with permission from Spirit) to take SOME similarities from their song "Taurus" and convert them into Stairway. But no, the entire song was not stolen. Because A. Taurus was an instrumental that lasted about 3 minutes, maybe more maybe less, and B. Because none of the song "Taurus" contains any differences in mood theme or added instruments. Stairway; however, contains lyrics that Plant wrote, and guitar that Page wrote. Sit down.

  • yes jimmy page make that guitar sing

  • You can see how Jimmy Page's playing rapidly degraded from drug use...look at this same song, starting from '73, then '75, then this....it's sad really...he never recovered.

  • at the solo, something is wrong with that guitar, isn't there?
