A real classic and not an easy song to sing but Kartina delivered it flawlessly. Excellent musical arrangement by Ahmad Jaafar, S. Atan and Reggie Verghese which truly captured the mood of the song. I don't think anyone else has attempted to record the song again since this great recording by Kartina Dahari. To date the most popular of uploaded Kartina Dahari songs on YouTube.

Extraordinary interpretion by Kartina. Her phrasing is devoid of any artificial and overzealous accentuation of tone. Her purity of diction and controlled utilisation of high notes are legendary and indeed a classic. She conveyed the atmosphere of the twilight "senja" well.... fading and serene sky light....almost nocturnal. She is at her most natural self. Yes,her voice is indeed like the flute itself....very eloquent and the timbre is light, devoid of excessive vibratos. Bravo.
