This is a guy never talked about in Star Fox 64. He is less known than Caiman. Comment me to tell me if you know who this guy is. I will nickname him Wrench Guy. I think he's a racoon species.

  • He's the Star Fox repair man. He holds a wrench, it makes sense.

  • @lady01ize So, a repair man would be told to train newbies in Training Mode too, right?

  • @NessPeppyTails it makes sense, he would know the most about the arwings, including flight, as he repairs them.

  • @inyuasha7662 That's the problem. He can't be everywhere at one time. He works for the Cornerian Army, so the Cornerian Soldiers need their own spaceships repaired, too. If he's busy teaching, he can't be able to repair spaceships while doing so. However, maybe he's the repair man for fallen ships IN the Training Area.

  • @NessPeppyTails yes he actually does. I still also think hes less memorable than Caiman from Area 6. Poor training mode instructor.

  • This guy makes me smile...:)

and I thought he was a bear..with creepy eyes O_O lol

  • @NessPeppyTails good point.

  • lol his voice is cooler than Morgan Freeman's in the remake

  • looks like Yogi Bear

  • His name is Koon the Racoon but the thought the name was too offensive so they didn't give him one.

  • Oh, you also need the three w's and the dot before it all, whoops

  • He, along with Beltino Toad, developed the Arwing...

And while he has no name in any localization versions, his name in Japanese is Yaru de Pon. I found this information on Nintendo of Japan's official subsite for the original Star Fox 64. (Using Babelfish so I could read it, of course!)

If anyone's interested, here's the site: [nintendo co jp/n01/n64/software/nus_p_nfxj/member/index2 html] (put dots instead of the spaces)
