Well, sometimes its good not to be a pure because pures arent the best & with my ret pally i have glyphs that boost my healing abilities so the (usually) lazy healers dont have to worry about me a ton & im not a "flat" fighter.

This is why the addon will NEVER tell you which gems/glyphs/enchants are appropriate. Instead that should be left up to the user. We will however report if gems or enchants are missing, as there is no benifit to not enhancing your gear.

I like the add-on, but the elitist tone of your assessments here leave much to be desired. Not everyone has the funds or access to the gear or encs/gems, no matter what level they are. That's part of the challenge of the game. I plan to use GS not as a tool for hating on or marginalizing other players, but for optimizing my characters' potentials. That's the approach and attitude you should take with your add-on presentation.

lol what a bs... he used GS only for a few minutes, and found that 90% of the players around are noobs, with no chance to perform well in your raid. Have you ever heard about skill/playstyle, or anything like those above gear? You really made me mad, man. Throw your bs addon out the window, and try to play for fun.. or, if are not capable to do so, go, and find something else to spend your time on.

you may be kidding but this is the attitude of 99% of the pug leaders out there. I'm also concerned about this sick fascination with enchants. Somehow me not have an additional +30 stam on my head will cause us to lose the boss fight. Gear score is an estimated recommendation. Hell my guild (and I know several others) who get blue and even green sets of gear to run heroics and raids to up the challenge. Guess what (incoming shocker =O) we are successful! It must be luck and not proper management

it's a shame. this addon could be helpful but people use it all too religiously to determine if you're a suitable candidate for their raid.

gearscore gives me a GS of 5425 but when i use wowhero they only give me 2555 why is this please?

Gearscore is just stupid. It's part of the reason I quit WoW. It's a game with a bunch of whiners. All they do is whine about your gearscore, that you're a noob, that you do less DPS. But not only that! I'm so sick of those players showing off their high gear score, that they're not a noob and they do wicked damage.

Nobody gives a shit. All I care about is having fun and not dying and not dying takes skill, but because more and more people are giving a shit, it ruins the whole "fun" aspect.

@wkm311 I have to agree, but if you have high DPS/Heals etc without enchants, just think what you would do with them! Lots of guilds demand that you have all your gear gemmed and ench so you are pushing as much as you can
