wow. they must have really improved because when i saw it (on the weekend, 2011)
they were Galloping full speed with the roman riding instead of cantering or trotting. XD

Wow, Karen and her brother Tommie are amazing - i was lucky enough to work with both at Arabian Nights and karen is the one who taught me how to trick ride.

Yeah, her name is Karen Turvey and she is amazing! She is no longer with the show but works with her brother doing the same sort of stuff. She is really a wonderful lady and when I worked in the stables at the show, she got me up on her Roman Post team! It was really exciting.

At the time that I put this video together I was using a trial version of a video editing software program, so that's why there is the program's logo is in the middle.

This is the most amazing thing I have ever seen!!!
If this isn't an Xtreme sport I don't know what is. It's one thing to control your own body when your doing a stunt on a bike or skis or some other 'static' item but to do that AND control 2000 lbs or so of cantering horse....WOW!!!

Yes, you have that right! Although, I can tell you from experience that it is the same sensation as water skiing.
